Over the past few months, our team has been working with hundreds of beta users to understand what would genuinely improve their workflow. We discovered that the most impactful moments happen when AI removes friction without taking away control. You should always remain the designer—the AI is your creative partner, not a replacement. Every diagram generated by our AI engine can be edited, refined, and customized to match your exact vision.

The result is a set of features that work seamlessly within CorriDraw's collaborative environment. Because CorriDraw already has end-to-end encryption and real-time collaboration baked in, adding AI felt natural—we just needed to ensure it respected your privacy and security.

Text-to-Diagram Generation

Simply describe what you want to visualize in plain English, and our AI generates a complete diagram with properly positioned elements, connections, and styling. Now you can convert any Mermaid diagram directly into a CorriDraw visual editor. This is perfect for teams that manage their diagrams-as-code but want the flexibility of visual editing when collaborating.

Simply paste your Mermaid code into CorriDraw, and our AI parser converts it into a fully editable visual diagram with intelligent layout applied automatically. Changes made in CorriDraw can be exported back to Mermaid code if needed, creating a seamless bridge between code-based and visual-based diagramming workflows.

Whether you want a minimalist monochrome look, a vibrant multi-color scheme, or something that matches your brand guidelines, the AI can generate styling recommendations in seconds.

You can also describe your preferred aesthetic directly. Tell the AI you want "a professional tech company style with blues and grays," or "a playful startup look with bold colors and rounded corners," and it will apply appropriate styling to all elements in your diagram. Of course, individual elements can always be customized manually for those cases where you want to break the pattern intentionally.

Privacy-First AI

We know that for many teams, the diagrams they create contain sensitive information—system architectures, product roadmaps, security designs, and internal processes. This is why privacy wasn't an afterthought in our AI implementation. It's foundational.

CorriDraw maintains end-to-end encryption for all diagrams, and our AI features respect that commitment completely. When you use an AI feature, your diagram content is processed server-side to generate suggestions, but it's never stored, logged, or used to train models. The AI models themselves are fine-tuned for diagramming specifically, without any exposure to your company's proprietary information.

For teams with additional compliance requirements, we offer the ability to run CorriDraw with a private AI endpoint, ensuring all processing happens within your organization's infrastructure. No diagram data leaves your security boundary, even during AI processing.

Getting Started

AI features are now available to all CorriDraw users. To start using them, simply create a new diagram or open an existing one. You'll see AI-powered options in the toolbar and the right-side panel. The interface guides you through each feature with helpful examples and tips.

We're also exploring deeper integration with popular tools like Jira, Notion, and Slack. Imagine describing a diagram directly in a Slack message and having it automatically created in CorriDraw. Or generating architecture diagrams from your Jira epics. These integrations are coming soon.
